Rose and I were cleaning out our freezer today (it was disgusting), and I found a half can of old orange juice concentrate. Regular orange juice sounded too boring, so I made orange julius instead!
You don’t see many Orange Julius stands in the U.S., but every time I go to Asia, I see them all over the place. It tastes sort of like an orange creamsicle-flavored slushie, and is light, refreshing and addicting!
Feel free to throw a handful of berries, mango or watermelon to make another fruity version of this treat!
Orange Julius
Serves 2
6 oz. frozen orange juice concentrate
1 cup milk (can substitute your favorite non-dairy milk here)
1 cup water
1/8- 1/4 cup sugar (start with 1/8 and add more too taste)
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 ice cubes
Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until frothy and smooth. Serve over ice and enjoy.
Recipe by me, inspired by all the different versions on Google!

I can’t wait to make these. They were all over Massachusetts and none are around here
Thanks KP! Come to my house and we’ll make them together!
